             Self-defense or self-defence (see spelling differences) is a countermeasure that involves defending the well-being of oneself or of another from harm. The use of the right of self-defense as a legal justification for the use of force in times of danger is available in many jurisdictions, but the interpretation varies widely.
            Many styles of martial arts are practiced for self-defense or include self-defense techniques. Some styles train primarily for self-defense, while other martial or combat sports can be effectively applied for self-defense. Some martial arts train how to escape from a knife or gun situation, or how to break away from a punch, while others train how to attack.
            To provide more practical self-defense, and will often customize self-defense training to suit the participants' lifestyles, occupations, age groups and gender, and physical and mental capabilities.
        Our goal is teach you how to defend yourself thru Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a martial art developed specific to a small and weak person to have advantage against a stronger and big person, using specific techniques and leverage while giving you a good workou and helping you get in the best shape of your life.


  •        Self-Defense – You will learn real-world techniques that will help them to defend themselves in difficult situations. Self-defense focus is to teach students to defend themselves against a larger, stronger assailant. We teach students that the first choice is to avoid conflict, we will prepare them with the skills required to protect themselves in situations that cannot be avoided.


  •      Facilitates weight loss - In class self-defense, you will make moves that will facilitate your weight loss and coordinate motor skills.



  •        Fitness – The stamina and endurance develop during Martial Arts training in our Women Self-defense program results in natural weight-loss and an improvement in overall physical and mental health.


  •           Balance and Motor Skills – Diego Ramos Self-defense is known to teach balance and good coordination. Our class focuses on creating good hand and eye coordination when learning the techniques, especially while training with partners. Who trains a long period self-defense gain great posture and motor skills, which assists in the development of becoming flexible and in-tune with their own bodies.
